What’s This?!
Do what now???! Yes, you can design your own class. Hour’s days and what you’d like to learn. As long as it’s something I’m good at we can work together to design a class you’d like to take.
Want to learn how to fix a flat tire? Sure, I’ve taught hundreds of people how to fix flats. It usually takes walking someone through it three or four times for them to get it and remember ALL the important steps. We can use your bike, and or several bikes and wheels in the shop and practice practice practice until you have it down to a science and never have to worry about being frustrated or stranded again!
Want to learn how to do a tune up, or adjust a rear derailleur, or replace and set up an indexing rear derailleur so it actually works perfectly? Or how to install Velo Orange or Honjo fenders and have them look show quality instead of kind of mangled and fugly?!
What about not wanting to take a huge class on frame building, you just want to know the absolute basics because you just want to add rack mounts to all your bikes.
Or maybe you don’t want to build bikes, but you want to make bike art with recycled frames and what not.
No problems. We can design the perfect class with just the stuff you want to know, and pepper in the stuff you actually need to know to make the stuff you want to know work. We can quickly cover the basics or do a deep dive on one specific thing. We can fit in a two-hour one time only class. Or do a one-hour class once a week for as long as you like.
The only limits are things that I know well, so that I can actually teach. For example, I don’t know how to tig weld or run a mill. I don’t know anything about the latest and greatest gimmick the bike industry has saddled us with. So, no classes on how to Tig weld, or how to bleed hydraulic disk brakes or a crash course in thru axles or integrated headsets. That stuff is just outside my wheelhouse. But feel free to ask, most things vintage and beautiful that not a lot of people under 75 know is exactly what I specialize in!
Let’s do cool stuff!
