Adangerpdx Rack

Here’s a cool fun project. @adangerpdx is a very cool Instagram to follow. She travels for work all over the world and always takes one of her many track bikes. She’s always playing with them and doing different builds and wanted a sleek lightweight minimalist fork she could take anywhere and fit on a Woundup carbon fork that she likes and swaps between several frames.

So we came up with this demi porter rack based on some new track axle rack tabs that Frame Builder Supply had just developed. And man they worked perfectly, clearing the lawyer lips on the fork and the round parts of the blades. I did a simple bolt through crown on the top, brazed directly to the rack.

If you don’t follow her on Instagram you’re missing out. Lots of people do, including several other bike manufacturers, and several versions of this rack were quickly developed for the fix gear crowd. Kinda cool to know my little rack influenced culture worldwide, at least in part.
